New blog!

I think I'm just about the last person who has never blogged before. I guess I'm going to try this instead of emailing pictures. It'll be easier for people to check here (at least I think it will be). I have a friend who sends out an email when she updates her blog. I guess I can do that. As busy as we are, though, we hardly ever seem to have time to email pictures, so I'm sure the same will be true for updating this site. Maybe not, though.

We are so happy right now. Christmas was wonderful, and we are enjoying our three sweet children. We are also looking forward to the twins' first birthday that is coming up quickly (January 24). I can't believe how fast this year has gone by.

I have uploaded a slide show with several pictures from Christmas. They are an assortment from various family gatherings, Christmas morning, the twin club party, and some of Matthew performing at church. I put captions on each of them, but I don't see them in the slide show. ??? Anyway, I hope you enjoy. Some of you have really fussed at me for not sending more pictures. I know, I know. Bad mother! :)

I hope you all had a great Christmas, and we wish you a world of happiness in the new year.

Love,
Kendra, Jeff, and family

Babies' first Christmas

Christmas 2007 was certainly memorable. The babies were wonderful, and Matthew had so much fun. This is the first year he really understood everything. How much fun we had on Christmas morning! I think he felt like he got three sets of presents. He seemed to enjoy the babies' gifts just as much as his own. Even with a nasty case of strep throat (Matthew) and an ear infection (Anna Morgan), our Christmas was still wonderful!

Santa Claus brought quite a haul to our house this year. It certainly makes a difference going from one set of toys to three. We need to move now just to have enough room for all these toys! We have spent all day today purging toys in the playroom to make room for the new stuff.

We attended five family events this Christmas. All the kids were loaded up with gifts after each outing. Matthew had a great time playing with his cousins, especially Morgan. Those two were inseperable and adorable. We were also very excited to meet Leslie's new baby Luke. He's a cutie!
